What’s the best car from each decade?

On this post, I’m going to be looking at the best cars from each decade from the 40’s up.

Best car from the 40’s, Jaguar XJ120: At the time of it’s release, it was the fastest production car, with a top speed of 120 MPH. Sure, a Ford Fiesta can go faster than that now, but this was the 40’s, and people would’ve never seen that kind of speed on the road before.3587627_2f2aff33

Best car from the 50’s, Jaguar E-type: Okay. I could’ve chosen a Ferrari or something. But this was a GREAT car. Not only was it released in mass number, but it was cheaper and faster than a Ferrari at that time. 6083962287_ae61c16a64_b

Best car from the 60’s, Lamborghini Miura: This was thought to be the first actual ‘super car.’ Not only does it look amazing, its 0-60 time of 6.1 was impressive.15848444240_eddb84836e_b

Best car from the 70’s, Lancia Stratos: This car was built for rallying. And they obviously did it right, because it won the World Rally Championchip three times. It’s really small but quick. 4470801949_1486a9b565

Best car from the 80’s, Ferrari F40: In my opinion, no car in the 80’s was as iconic as the F40. It was the first street-legal car to do 200 MPH, which made it famous.

Best car from the 90’s, Lancia Delta Integrale OR the Lamborghini Diablo:

Both of these cars were memorable, but I can’t choose between them. Lancia obviously have some experience with rallying, because the O37 was the only 2WD car to beat the Quattro. The Delta won the World Rally Championchip SIX TIMES. The Diablo as the reputation of being the first Lambo ever to hit 200 MPH. They’re both cool and both good.

Best car from the 2o00’s, Bugatti Veyron: Every single person knows this car, you don’t even have to like cars to know it. It’s fame came from the 16 cylinder engine which took the car up to 258 MPH, this made it the fastest production car, beating the Mclaren F1, until the SSC ultimate aero knocked it out of position.

unknown

Best car from the 2010’s *So far,* Porsche 918 Spyder: To give you a idea of how fast it is, here’s a video:

https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=5&ved=0ahUKEwid3envkdbQAhWlIsAKHWr4C6IQtwIIMDAE&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DcXLE6otus8s&usg=AFQjCNHqlHOE0sjTU-XwVRt2-6Y_wcPsfA&sig2=d4YvWxnkK6ecd-zM_8ABJg&bvm=bv.139782543,d.ZGg

If you didn’t bother to watch it, the 918 smashes a Aregra R and a 650S.

Well, that’s it. Make sure to share the blog and keep visiting! Thanks for reading!

What’s the worst car of all time?

These ‘cars’ should just be destroyed. Today we’re going to find out which is the worst car of all time.

Smart Fortwo: I’ve always hated this car. I’ve never liked it. You may ask why, well, because it has a 82 MPH top speed or the that your legs get crushed every time you try to sit down in it. And the fact that there’s just so many. Every single time I get driven somewhere I always see one of these.

smart-car-meme-1
Head on collision with air.

Ferrari Mondial 8: You may be thinking: “Why is a Ferrari on this list?” Well, apart from the Peugeot handling, the Mondial 8 has a 0-60 time of seven seconds. SEVEN. That’s not like a Ferrari at all.

Two Mondial 8's.
Two Mondial 8’s.

Yugo GV: Yep. You all knew I would put this on the list. Electrical failures, explosions, terrible top speed and a 0-60 time of 13.9 seconds. It’s not exactly beautiful, either.

Who would buy one of these?
Who would buy one of these?

These are all cars I hate. If I saw these on the road I would probably be blinded by how bad they look. Well, if you have a different opinion, put it down in the comments below. Except for you, Herbert, you can just go away. Thanks for reading!

Ferrari Enzo VS theFerrari: which is better? *IF YOU OWN A ENZO DON’T READ*

Two… well, one of Ferrari’s greatest cars against a Toyota, but which is better?

First, let’s start with the one that people actually take seriously. The LaFerrari is a revelutionary car. It’s a hybrid like the P1 and 918, But it takes energy from braking to charge the electric motor. So as long as you have A LOT of fuel, you’ve got a electric motor that lasts forever. 6.3 Liter V12 which produces 950 HP. 950. That’s more than both the P1 and the 918. 0-60 takes 2.9 seconds the top speed is 227 MPH. Sadly, it’s the slowest 0-60 time out of the P1 and the 918. But it has the highest top speed. It also has the highest price. £1 million. I think that’s enough said.

Now, what can we say about the Enzo? Apart from being ugly as every single new Spongebob episode, it has a 6 Liter V12, which is way too small. It does 0-60 in 3.6 seconds which is pretty dismal, considering a 911 Turbo S does it in 2.6. The top speed of 218 MPH. What really annoys me is the price. You can buy this thing for £2.29 million. You might as well just buy a army of Dacia Dusters for that, it would be alot more smart and would cost less.

Car rating (Enzo): 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001/10 *You can get a ton more for your money. Please don’t buy it.*

Car rating (Laferrari): 10/10 *A cheaper and faster car, it’s also more economical, the engine is bigger, it has more power, it’s more practical, it’s more comfortable and it’s prettier.

Mclaren P1 VS F1: which is better?

Two of Mclaren’s best hyper cars, but which is best?

First, we’ll start with the 1993 Mclaren F1. It has a 6.1 liter BMW V12 which produces 618 HP. Now, what made this car famous was it’s top speed. It was the fastest production car of it’s time, and held that position until the Bugatti Veyron came into production in 2005. It has a top speed of 240 MPH, which not many cars nowadays can even get close to. 0-60 takes 3.2 seconds. And the price? Well… let me just say that one recently sold for £8 million. It’s not even a dream car, you’re never going to have one. Get over it.

Next we have the P1, and in my opinion, it doesn’t look as good as the F1. It has a 727 HP twin turbo V8, 0-60 takes 2.7 seconds and the top speed is 217 MPH. Like the 918, the P1 is a lot more technical than its predecessor. It’s a hybrid, like the 918 and out of the theferrari, the 918, it’s the fastest in a straight line. And prices start at £866,000.

Car rating (F1): 10/10 *It’s just amazing.*

Car rating (P1): 10/10 *It’s a incredible car, but in my opinion, the F1 is better.*

Porsche 918 VS Carrera GT: which is better?

Two of Porsche’s fastest cars against each other, but which one is better?

Okay, we’ll start with the oldest first, the 2004 Carrera GT. It does 0-60 MPH in 3.5 seconds, and a top speed of 208 MPH. It has a 5.7 liter V10 which produces 612 HP. At the time it was made, it was a insanely fast car, and the fastest production car Porsche had ever made. It’s alot more power then technical, I think that’s why it has a price of £349580.

Now, we have the 918. The interior has basically a iPad for a screen. It has a 4.6L V8 engine which produces 887 HP, and 0-60 takes 2.5 seconds and has a top speed of 214 MPH. But there’s one thing that makes the 918 completely different than the Carrera GT- It’s a hybrid. It can go 18 miles on electricity alone, which makes it quite economical. But then it’s not, because it has a V8. It costs £669577.

Car rating (Carrera GT): 7/10 *Now that there are faster cars in that price range, it’s not really worth getting if the whole point of that car is speed.*

Car rating (918): 10/10 *Considering it’s the cheapest out of the P1 and the theferrari, it does well against them.*

Camaro SS vs Mustang GT: which is better?

27034096581_d097345df6_bFirst, let’s look at the Camaro. It has a 6.2L V8 which produces 455 HP. That means it can go from 0-60 in 4.1 seconds, and it has a top speed of 165 MPH. This is probably the fastest car that I’ve heard of within that price range. The interior isn’t like anything you’d see on another muscle car. The screen inside it looks like it was made by apple and it just looks awesome. Considering the price for all of this, this is a massive bargain. The Camaro’s base price is $37,995 (£30515).

The Mustang GT has a 5.0L V8 which produces 435 HP which takes it from 0-60 In 4.3 seconds. The Mustang’s interior isn’t nearly as cool as the Camaro’s. The price is cheaper by almost $5000 though. In my opinion, the Camaro also looks better, It’s also lighter, by almost 100 lb. It’s faster, and even though it cost more, I think the Camaro is definately the one to choose.

Car rating (Camaro): 8/10

Car rating (Mustang): 7/10
